Your employer has a duty under section 35 of the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (OHS Act) to consult with HSRs and employees.
Use this checklist to see if your employer has been engaging in genuine consultation. If your employer hasn’t consulted with employees or HSRs about changes to the workplace, you can use your HSR powers to address the failure to consult.
