Mapping involves analysing the workplace and grouping workers and systems of work to better understand issues in the workplace. There are a number of ways you as the health and safety representative can use mapping to find out what health and safety problems exist within your workplace. These include reviewing data that is already available, doing surveys or carrying out risk and body mapping. The Mapping Kit below will help you find out how to map your workplace using different types of mapping.
