517 (+21%) total cases for the past week
2 COVID deaths on average each day over the past week
99 cases in hospital (7 day rolling average) with 6 in ICU (7 day rolling average)

Cumulatively this equals: 8347 Victorian COVID deaths (up 15 from last week) with 2,971,053 cases having recovered. You can check the Victorian weekly update here.

Australia: As of 22 August, there have been 11,743,116 cases and 22,512 COVID deaths

World: As of 22 August, there had been 694,022,481 worldwide infections with COVID-related deaths numbering 6,909,336 (Source: Worldometer)
