INDUSTRIALL: ZERO TOLERANCE ON GENDERED VIOLENCE

The IndustriALL Global Union's Executive Committee has endorsed a new policy on gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH), misogyny, and sexism. This policy articulates IndustriALL's commitment to zero tolerance approach, aligning with International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention 190.

IndustriALL aims to cultivate a culture of dignity and respect, offering guidelines for addressing complaints and promoting awareness. On International Women's Day (IWD), IndustriALL launched the "NO EXCUSE" campaign to reinforce its stance against GBVH.

IndustriALL will release resources on wage gaps, pay equity and preventing GBVH in supply chains, and also promoting the importance of women's access to digital and AI skills.

The global union is calling for proactive efforts from affiliates to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, recognizing these values as crucial for the future.
