COVID NUMBERS CONTINUE TO CLIMB

Victorian data taken from Department of Health Weekly Report 24 November 2023.

The number of people in hospital with COVID-19 increased this week to a daily average of 325, up from 317 last week.

The 7-day average of ICU patients increased this week (14 to 16).

Deaths in the most recent 28-day period have continued to increase, with a current 28-day total of 145.  

Australia: As of 29 November, there have been 11,694,319 cases and 22,974 COVID deaths.

World: As of 29 November, there had been 698,434,801 worldwide infections with COVID-related deaths numbering 6,944,117
