967 (+112%) total cases for the past week
3 COVID deaths on average each day over the past week
109 cases in hospital (7 day rolling average) with 7 in ICU (7 day rolling average)

Cumulatively this equals: 8,382 Victorian COVID deaths (up 20 from last week) with 2,972,239 cases having recovered. You can check the Victorian weekly update here.

Australia: As of 5 September, there have been 11,753,452 cases and 22,646 COVID deaths

World: As of 5 September, there had been 694,893,289 worldwide infections with COVID-related deaths numbering 6,912,384 (Source: Worldometer)
