WORKING WOMEN TAKE OVER PARLIAMENT!

Last Thursday, 58 working women came to Parliament and bravely told stories to MPs about the impacts of gendered violence in the workplace.

We met with 53 MPs throughout the day and told our stories to ensure they all understand how important it is that we stop workplace sexual harassment cover ups and end the misuse of NDAs.

Non-disclosure agreements harm victims. They only serve to protect the perpetrator from accountability and prevent reputational damage to the employer who created the unsafe work environment the sexual harassment occurred in. It was powerful to have so many working women in the halls of Parliament demanding change.

We know we need to keep the momentum up to ensure we can end the misuse of NDAs. If you’re interested in this issue you can sign the petition and join us at our next NDA Activist Meeting Tuesday 11 July, 6.00pm via ZOOM to plan our next steps in the campaign, including our train station blitz on 20 July.
