STAY SAFE DURING HEAVY RAINFALL

With the BOM issuing a severe weather warning for parts of Victoria involving damaging winds, heavy rain and minor to isolated flooding, WorkSafe is reminding workers and employers that information what to do before, during and after heavy rainfall is available here.

The guidance includes managing risks associated with asbestos, addressing biological hazards, handling hazardous substances, implementing safety measures during demolition, practicing electrical safety, managing fatigue to prevent accidents, promoting mental health well-being, addressing issues related to mould, ensuring safe operation of machinery, and implementing safety protocols for working at heights.
