Pandemic orders expire

PANDEMIC ORDERS EXPIRE

Pandemic orders affecting most workpalces expired on 12 October.

As a result the obligation on how to provide a safe workplace has defaulted back to the employer, under Section 21 of the Act. Effectively we shouldn't see too much change - the orders required common sense controls, that employers are likely to maintain.

New guidance is now live on WorkSafe’s website.
