GLOBAL UNION LAUNCHES HEALTH AND SAFETY MANUAL

IndustriALL has introduced a new resource aimed at union health and safety activists, especially those who are new to the field. Titled 'Saving Ourselves' and authored by IndustriALL’s health and safety director, the manual offers an overview of essential structures and programs for workers advocating for safer and healthier workplaces.

Its chapters encompass topics such as health and safety committees, hazard identification and control, incident investigation, safety systems and programs, basic problem-solving techniques, methods for measuring and evaluating health and safety systems, safety audit standards, corrective policies and procedures, and definitions.
