WEEKLY COVID NUMBERS

Victorian data taken from Department of Health Weekly Report 17 November 2023.

The number of people in hospital with COVID-19 decreased this week to a daily average of 317, down from 321 last week.

The 7-day average of ICU patients increased this week (12 to 14).

Deaths in the most recent 28-day period have continued to increase, with a current 28-day total of 126.

Australia: As of 22 November, there have been 11,687,570 cases and 22,899 COVID deaths.

World: As of 22 November, there had been 698,041,644 worldwide infections with COVID-related deaths numbering 6,941,015
