Weekly COVID numbers

From 14 July - 20 July, Victoria recorded: 

469 (-11%)* total cases for the past week
6 COVID deaths on average each day over the past week
121 cases in hospital (7 day rolling average) with 6 in ICU (7 day rolling average)

*The recommendation to report positive rapid antigen test result was removed on 30 June, so new cases include PCR test results only from 1 July.

Cumulatively this equals: 8,234 Victorian COVID deaths (up 45 from last week) with 2,968,675 cases having recovered. You can check the Victorian weekly update here.

Australia: As of 25 July, there have been 11,725,283 cases and 22,157 COVID deaths

World: As of 25 July, there had been 692,123,800 worldwide infections with COVID-related deaths numbering 6,902,518 (Source: Worldometer)
