From 29 June – 5 July, Victoria recorded: 

823 (-68%)* total cases for the past week
7 COVID deaths on average each day over the past week
158 cases in hospital (7 day rolling average) with 7 in ICU (7 day rolling average)

* The recommendation to report positive rapid antigen test result was removed on 30 June, so new cases include PCR test results only from 1 July.

 

Cumulatively this equals: 8,150 Victorian COVID deaths (up 52 from last week) with 2,967,555 cases having recovered. You can check the Victorian weekly update here.

Australia: As of 10 July, there have been 11,714,525 cases and 221,947 COVID deaths
