SAFEWORK AUST CONSULTING ON FATIGUE CODE OF PRACTICE

Safe Work Australia is seeking a diverse range of views on their draft model Code of Practice providing guidance on managing fatigue hazards at work. Responses from public consultation will be used to refine the draft model to ensure it assists duty holders to determine what is reasonably practicable to manage fatigue hazards at work, and to ensure it is broadly applicable across all industries.

Safe Work Australia invites all interested stakeholders (duty holders, regulators, government agencies, unions, workers, legal professionals, researchers, members of the public and others) to make submissions.

Once the consultation period is complete, the feedback will be used to revise the draft model Code of Practice, before it is provided to Commonwealth, state and territory WHS ministers for approval.
