SWA FATALITIES UPDATE

Safe Work Australia has released preliminary data revealing as of July 18 that 60 Australian workers have been killed while working so far this year.

Transport postal and warehousing has the highest number of work-related deaths at 18, while agriculture, forestry, and fishing follow closely with 14 fatalities. Eight employees were killed in the construction sector, public administration and safety had five worker fatalities and mining experienced four fatal incidents.
