COMCARE RESOURCES TO REDUCE MENTAL HEALTH STIGMA

Comcare has developed the Mental Notes program with the objective of reducing stigma surrounding mental health. The program aims to enhance managers' knowledge and skills in supporting employees' mental well-being by providing practical strategies for identifying and managing psychosocial safety risks and making necessary adjustments.

A variety of communication and information materials are available as part of the program, including a manager's resource kit with links to useful tools and resources on mental health, practical resources and fact sheets for managers and supervisors on reducing mental health-related stigma in the workplace, a conversation guide for managers and supervisors to facilitate discussions about mental health, a program guide to assist employers in implementing the program, and various creative assets such as screensavers and e-signatures.
