PLEASE NOTE THAT ASK RENATABOT IS CURRENTLY IN TESTING
Meet Ask RenataBot, your 24/7 multilingual Victorian Occupational Health & Safety assistant.
Ask RenataBot is a tool developed by the Victorian Trades Hall Council’s OHS team to support union members, Health & Safety Representatives (HSRs), and workers with up-to-date health & safety advice when human support might not be immediately available.
Ask RenataBot is a focused, purpose-built system that draws exclusively from Victorian OHS laws and the information developed by the VTHC OHS team and WorkSafe. Ask RenataBot can also respond in a range of languages, making it more accessible to workers from diverse backgrounds, and it's a resourceful starting point tool to:
- Understanding general concepts
- Suggesting areas to explore
- Framing thoughts and identifying what questions to ask
- Finding terminology and legislation
- Support your research
- Help creating checklists and flowcharts
There is no sign-up required, and no personal data is collected through your interactions. While your conversations remain confidential, they are recorded for training purposes to help us improve the bot’s performance and keep the advice sharp and useful.
Disclaimer: Remember, Ask RenataBot is only one tool among many and should never be your only source for critical decisions or legal advice. The advice provided is designed to guide users toward further research. You should use Ask RenataBot as part of your toolkit rather than relying on it to apply directly to your specific circumstances, and you should always seek additional professional advice. We do our best to ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date, but we cannot accept responsibility for any loss arising from its use. Advice on legal and technical matters should be confirmed by professionals with appropriate qualifications. If you would like a member of the OHS team to review your interaction and ask for a human follow-up, please complete the form in the chat box that will appear after your query.
