HSR INSIGHTS SOUGHT ON ASBESTOS REGISTERS

The Victorian Asbestos Eradication Agency (VAEA) wants to understand how HSRs use – or don’t use – asbestos registers in their workplaces.

The VAEA helps Victorian Government organisations plan and prioritise the removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) from government-owned buildings, and is also responsible for consolidating the asbestos registers of government-owned buildings in Victoria.

The VAEA understands how crucial the role of the HSR is to the safe management of asbestos and is seeking your insights to develop a tool that will assist HSRs and OHS committees in maintaining, managing, and reviewing workplace asbestos registers.
