ANOTHER YOUNG MAN KILLED AT WORK

It is with great sadness that we report that a worker was killed last week in Cranbourne.

Rescue appliances from Langwarrin CFA and Frankston SES joined police, paramedics and FRV Richmond in responding at a private property in Cranbourne South on Monday morning.

A 27-year-old man was discovered deceased following a tipper truck jack-knife.

Police secured the scene and WorkSafe will conduct an investigation into the incident.

This is the 33rd confirmed workplace death in Victoria for 2024.

The VTHC extends its sincerest condolences to the worker’s family, friends and work colleagues. Every workplace death is preventable – no one should lose their life at work. Mourn the dead and fight like hell for the living!
