WORKSAFE – “IT’S NEVER YOU UNTIL IT IS” – TOM CONNELLAN, RURAL PARAMEDIC

To complement the current burst of the “It’s never you until it is” campaign for safe farms, WorkSafe have created a case study video with rural paramedic Tom Connellan. Tom talks through the importance of safety on-farm. He draws on his experiences growing up on a farm and responding to rural emergencies.

Tom Connellan grew up on his family's sheep, cattle, and cropping farm. Now, he responds to medical emergencies in the Swan Hill region as a rural paramedic. Tom is joining WorkSafe's farm safety campaign, 'It's never you, until it is,' which offers safety tips for farmers and encourages discussion about safety.

You can find Tom’s story and hear from other farmers about their farm safety experiences here: Farmer Stories - WorkSafe Victoria
