Rod Quantock @ 7pm in the New Ballroom
If you plan on being alive in 2050AD then 2050AD is the must-see musical* for you. Like all Quantock shows 2050AD is entertaining, instructive and, for the first time, genetically modified for your cross-species enjoyment. *WARNING: 2050AD contains no music because in 2050AD, when 10 billion people are competing for the last grain of rice, ‘unproductive’ people like dancers and singers and (gulp) comedians will be eaten.
Courteney Hocking in Mixing Pop and Politics @ 8.30pm in the Evatt Room
Courteney wants to be the people's champ, like Billy Bragg, Bono and Sonny Bono. Of course, some mix pop and politics better than others. Join her as she walks the fine line between "Maintaining the Rage" and "I've got you, babe".

Thursday 20th March
Fear of a Brown Planet @ 6.45 in the New Ballroom
Stand up comedy about all the things you are scared to think about: Islam, race relations, sedition, and the War on Terror. After a sold-out extended season at the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2007, two young Australian Muslim comedians are coming to shock and awe audiences with their dark humour in a bold one-hour stand-up comedy show that is a timely antidote to today's culture of paranoia.
Yana Alana and tha Paranas @ 10pm in the New Ballroom
Yana Alana, the Angry Feminist Cabaret Diva, and winner of The Melbourne Fringe Cabaret Award 2007, conquers the comedy festival with her late night variety show Feeding Frenzy. Sup on tasty acts from circus freaks to burlesque stars, kooky comedians to cabaret divas and a smorgasbord of enticing entertainers who dare to enter the frenzy.
Friday 21st March
Greatness Thrust Upon Them @ 7pm in the Old Council Chambers
Greatness Thrust Upon Them is a play about people changing history by accident.
Like the bodyguard who took a bullet for Ronald Reagan, or the directors of the Vienna Art Gallery realising perhaps they shouldn’t have advised Hitler against an artistic career, insignificant people make history all the time. This show is about them.
