VTHC Annual OHS Reps' Conferences
Every year, on the Wednesday of Victoria's OHS Week, the VTHC holds its annual OHS Reps' conference. The largest and most successful event for OHS reps not only in Victoria, but the world, it is a highlight in the OHS year.2009: Having a voice is having an impact. The 2009 Conference, held for the first time at Victoria's new Melbourne Convention Centre, featured a range of eminent speakers, including Keynote Speaker, UK-based Fiona Murie, WorkSafe, Unions and academics. Reps also had the opportunity to attend two workshops.
2008: Delivering the Highest standards. The chance to deliver the highest possible Occupational Health and Safety standards was the theme for 2008.
2007: Unfinished Business. As well as presentations from Brian Boyd and John Merritt, there were four workshops: Fatigue; Impairment - Drugs and Alcohol; Zero Occupational Cancer; and Negotiating around OHS/Communicating with members. Presentations from the workshops can also be downloaded in this section of the site.
